ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:
Fiona Collins was born in Blackpool, Lancashire. She attended school there before becoming a registered nurse in general medicine and psychiatry. Fiona left nursing to undertake a BA in the History of Design and then an MA in same from the Royal College of Art, London. She was involved in research before starting to make films in 2002. “Waiting” is one of a series of short films made as poetry adaptations. Fiona hates waiting.
ABOUT THE POET:
Julian is a stand up comedian and comic poet and soon to be published author of ‘How to Dump Your Girlfriend’. He has taken his spoken word/ comedy to theatres, comedy clubs, libraries, art galleries, youth groups, prisons, schools, shopping centres and across the world wide web. “I wrote this whilst waiting for people to turn up for a meeting. It then struck me that I was one of those people who always seems to be waiting for something.”
