WordFest: Banff-Calgary International Writers Festival

Highlights 

Moving Stories Films takes the show to WordFest: Banff-Calgary International Writers Festival on October 15. We’ve got a few stories and interviews in the works with SWERVE (the WordFest event sponsor), FFWD and others. We’re thrilled to have The Perfection of the Moment (based on John Gould’s stories)in our program lineup, directed by Calgary filmmaker Corey Lee, who has just screened more shorts at CIFF and EIFF.  Corey joins Paul Quarrington, Founder Judith Keenan, Randall Maggs, Andrew Davidson, Nino Ricci and Anne Collins at the screening event.
 

 

Moving Stories Film Gala

New to the Festival is Moving Stories Film Festival, a hilarious, odd and poignant program of short films from all over the world. Moving Stories Films kicks off with a red carpet screening and gala and continues throughout the Festival with workshops with curators and advisors Judith Keenan, Anne Collins, Paul Quarrington, Nino Ricci and special guest Andrew Davidson.  Chat with film currators and have books signed at the reception following the screening.
